It was a late year change in 2021 that the AT4 didn't get sport mode. GM decided the off road tires didn't need it. I had an AT4 that was built in June 2021 that had sport mode.

But z28Tranz has a refreshed 22 AT4 with sport mode (posted pictures).  It's confusing for sure...  Mine also lists that ventilated seat cushions aren't included / later retrofit, but my cooled seats are working...

I wish my damn ventilated seats were working! Those come in handy in this FL heat.

That's strange! My sticker says no ventilated seats - the buttons light up like they are working but they are not (at least I'm pretty sure they are not).

His has the 20 inch wheels, which dont include the Duratracs that the 18s do. They have All Terrains where the Duratracs are Mud Terrains. The tires seem to be the deciding factor. I'm sure it  has to do with wearing down the more aggressive tread of the Duratracs too easily with "Sport" driving.

Not that it stops anyone. 🤷‍♂️

To make it more confusing, the 20 inch option on AT4 now comes with Territory MT tires as standard. You can option a 20 inch AT tire, but the standard 20 inch has a MT now too.

Honestly I don't care about the sport mode. I used it once on my 20 AT4 just to see what it did. As far as I could tell it altered shift points and that was about it. Maybe on a 6.2 RST it might make more sense, but the diesel AT4 seemed kinda pointless.

My 2021 AT4 had the 20" wheels with the Territory MT tires and had sport mode.

I was going to say, I have the 20s on mine with the Territory MT tires.  All these minor differences are confusing, no wonder salesmen can't give you straight answers on some things...

Turns out my ventilated seats do work, even though the window sticker says they are not installed. Now I only need the park assist chip!

Do you notice any changes with the seats with quality of leather and overall feel? I sat in a refresh AT4 this week and couldn't believe how much softer and better the driver's seat feels compared to my '20 AT4.  However, I've read here a few times that there was no change with the refresh.  When looking closely the seams of the base seat cover are different which tells me minor changes were made.

Coming from a 2019 RST to 2022 Refresh RST -  the seats seem about the same to me. I have a 6.2 and it does have Sport mode. The BOSE in the 2019 was better IMO. Everything else is better in the 2022

Maybe sport mode depends on engine option?

I have a 2022 at4 refresh with 6.2 and no sport mode.

6.2 is the sport edition 🤪

Duratracs are still considered AT tires , they just happen to be as loud as MT tires. Great tire with really good grip but god damn they are loud ( for me anyway )

Another difference I've noticed now after some miles on my 22 refresh AT4 3.0 is the DPF regen cycle. My previous 2020 AT4 diesel had very noticeable regens - I could tell when it was in regen cycle by high idle and a change in exhaust tone when driving. I have yet to tell when the 22 has done a regen. I'm near 2000 miles and I'm sure it has done a couple but I have not heard any change in exhaust or noticed any high idle. I expected to smell the first regen as it burns off any manufacturing oils and coatings, but have noticed nothing. Maybe it hasn't done one yet but that seems unlikely - my 2020 would do one every 500 miles or so. It seems like something has changed in regen cycle programming.
