blank screen/trailering app

The problem keeps getting bigger and no fix. Who is having the issue of the screen going blank/black and not coming on? Tell us if you can get it to come back, how did you get it to come back. Is the screen doing anything else wrong. Other apps not working correctly. Fill us in with all the info you have. I don't want this to turn into just a place to complain, I do want this to be a poll and info source so that we can get the issue fixed.

Since I started this I will go first.

4th time into the dealer, same one they are doing what they can but its still not working

The touch screen was replaced and I'm still being told its a SW issue and to call back for updates once a month.

About 50/50 chance Trailering App will open or get black screen. Have had four service appointments at two dealerships, and, two Chevy Customer Service cases; last case advised that I go to another dealership. Only thing both dealerships have done is reload software in the infotainment system that did not cause any improvements. Only way I have found to make app start (usually, but not always) is shut off truck, open driver's door, and wait about 10 mins (fill with gas.) However, one service tech gave me a copy of a service bulletin and showed how to reset infotainment system to factory default in an attempt to get Trailering App to start -- of course, this causes ALL settings to reset.

I just had the blank screen when using the trailering app happento me.

This was the 1st time I actually needed to use it on my new to me 2020 Trail Boss.

I plugged my 4 pin flat trailer plug and the screen was blank, but everything else would work just the trailering app was blank. I googled it on the internet, and found others having the same issue, and the fix was to reset the infotainment system to factory settings?? When I went back to my truck it started working again and I never had to do the factory reset.

I re-hitched to my trailer and the app worked great, a very helpful app, and I hope this doesn't happen too often.
