I have a semi-emergency at the moment.  I purchased a 2023 Silverado LT Trail Boss so I could have a truck to flat tow behind my motorhome.

I am following the owners manual instructions for flat towing (dinghy towing in the owners manual) to a TEE.

But the electronic parking brake keeps coming on.

According to the manual, disconnecting the negative battery terminal is supposed to prevent that.

I did install an aftermarket supplemental braking system (Roadmaster Invisibrake) which actuates the brake pedal when the RV brakes are applied.  That seems to be working correctly.  The issue is not with the pedal, it's the electronic brake.

The Invisibrake does tie into the battery.  Both black and red wires.  So I disconnect the main harness attached to the black post, but leave the Invisibrake connected.

Could this be completing a circuit somehow - whatever the EPB is connected to?

I'm curious about this.

Do the trucks power brakes work ok with the engine not running?

Is there a reason the invisbrake isn't powered by the rv - instead of discharging the pickups battery?

@redwngr - I'm not sure on the "why not hook up to the MH power line"... good question.

The power brakes do work with the engine off.  Also the RM does charge the battery if you have the tail lights on (according to the manual).

I learned a lot during this installation!

Wonder if there's been any update on this? Wondering if anyone found a fuse that can be disconnected  as opposed to disconnecting the negative lead from battery?
