Interior LED Addition

Stock interior lighting poor at best. Picked up some LED’s on line. 1 in each footwell front, 4 just above driver and passenger head front and rear and 2 for rear passengers feet. Wired to work with factory lights. Before/after photos.

I need more light too! How/where did you connect them to work with the factory dim lights?

I also added LEDs in the overhead console of my new Trail Boss. It makes a huge difference!

OP - where exactly did you install the front ones? In the headliner? I thought about it but couldn’t bring myself to do it….

i just followed everyone else and put two in the console although I am going to try and aim them more straight down. Mine has the sunroof controls so they are aimed a little to the rear…

Any info on where you did the wiring taps etc?

If its for the 2020 in your signature you should be able to find the power for lighting under the dash below the glovebox. Theres a connector with a gray wire there. It is 12v that will dim just like the rest of the lighting. If you use a couple of white LED license plate of marker lamps the circuit wont even know theyre there.
