ProClip Phone Holder

Hey, figured I'd start a thread on this since someone was asking about phone holders. I've had my ProClip one for about two years now. I've had it on multiple locations and most recently I got the MagSafe one (but you can also get the one that holds your phone). Anyways, wanted to share these in anyone else is looking for a phone mount setup.

Thanks for replying to my earlier post and sharing your experience and pictures. I’m a cheapskate. But not when it comes to my truck. I just ordered the center mount and rugged case holder. I can’t wait till it arrives. I can’t believe I spent almost a $100 bucks for a phone mount. But I tried everything I could get my hands on locally and nothing worked. I hope I like it. At least they give you 30 days to return it.

Hey PureZ71. What do you have on your steering wheel? Carbon fiber?

I use a cheap suction phone holder from Walmart. I put it on the dash next to the steering wheel over a vent to keep it cool. I run my navigation and iHeart radio on the phone so it can get warm. I modify the holder with a puck clip because I use a puck on my phone. The whole set up is under 20$ and lasts years.

Went ahead and upgraded the steering the last week. Got a cover from EastDetailing (link below)($88). It did take about four hours actually stitch it together. Also added a CF trim piece from Ebay to complete the look (link below). Total cost was $110.

Does the heated steering wheel still put out heat with the cover?

Yes it does. I've used the heated wheel a few times and works perfectly.
