The gremlins are plaguing mine as well just had a case of the dead DRL blinker which mystically fixed itself on drive to dealer.  Truck is also using around 1.5 quarts of oil in 6k miles not towing which my '21 used none.  My brother in law has a '24 HD AT4 as well and his just went through a case of the blank screen and no turn signal function at all for a period, power cycle fixed.  It does seem there is certainly something going on with the "new to HD" global B CAN architecture.  My '21 Denali had zero issues with all the same options as my current Denali short of what the Ultimate now added over what was the Black Diamond edition. It almost seems like the CAN experiences some sort of interference which causes these sporadic electronic issues that manifest and then disappear with no trace.  I am certainly not an engineer but do work with technology and this certainly seems like a possibility of what is causing these gremlins to appear and then with an ignition cycle they disappear.  I am not at all impressed with the move to google/android for the infotainment system as the nav has let me down mean lock up or loading route or any other myriad of technical glitches a number of times.  Which is strange as my wife drives a '22 Volvo which also uses a Google/Android based system and her car has had 0 issues ever with the infotainment or nav systems.  Calls to On Star sometime can yield an update or temp fix to the issues but I have seen most do come back and then disappear again by the time you get in at dealer.  Just not overly impressed with the technical quality of my almost $100k truck :(.  I will likely by another but god I hope by the time I am ready for my next truck which will likely be '26 model year they have this all sorted out.

@clongtine, is your HD a Duramax ? My '24 HD Ultimate is. At 2300 mi., began smelling oil after short to med. runs, cannot spot any leaks. A 1 hr. drive each way today, wind is calm, and start sniffing again with the hood up. Someone also posted a missing Oil Gallery Plug & oil leak. Got that fixed, got home and oil on his driveway. Turbo Lines now leaked.

Duramax has been on the struggle bus a lot lately and its not just one aspect. Stupid things that should never happen.  Since the HD is the golden goose these days I hope they get their ducks in a linear configuration soon. As much as I like the gasser in my 2021 I was considering a Dmax in my 2024. The plus vs minus sheet never tipped into the diesel side though. Lots of factors both personal, financial and private that put me back in the gas engine.  I want to love the Dmax but I got burned badly with my 2005 turd wagon that never lived up to its promise, fool me once !

Just picked up mine this past Friday. Gas. Will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

@Kerry Pulaski yes my HD is a Duramax I do not have an oil smell and do not have any oil leaks either.  I know the DMAX is prone to a small amount of oil consumption under heavy load for long durations.  But most of my oil loss was under no load at all just highway driving with no trailer.  Very strange behavior as my first DMAX which was a '21 used no oil ever so somewhat disheartened on this front.

Update on mine..I'm at 19,000 miles now on my 2024 High Country 3500HD Gas.   I had some issues early on (Both headlights replaced and tailgate release actuator) but have not had any issues for 10,000+ miles.  Very happy with the truck and surprised to say I won't be going back to a diesel.  Love the 10spd gas combo that seems to get stronger and stronger.  Anyway, just trying to shed a positive light on it as I felt the pain with the 'glitches' early on.

Turn signal blinkers went from "Normal" flash timing to twice that speed driving at slow speed in a mall parking lot., after about 4 blinks. Did same for left & right. Tested several times in same lot, as now curious for the cause..

(As I added a PUTCO Tailgate LED 4 mo. ago, and the Electronic Putco control was replaced by them at N/C, for the '24 update, had not issues till now with blinker speed.)(Initially I was blaming my add on Putco).

Parked the truck and re-started, Blinker speed problem went away.  Gremlin is still gone so far.

No other issues with Infotainment, or other electronic features so far.

Your signal issue is the reason both my headlamps were replaced.  They would work fine for a while but the problem would come back randomly.  I have not had the issue since both assy's were replaced.

My massive oil leak issue turned out to be a missing gasket on the turbo oil return line.  You could smell the oil burning in the cab.

wish i would've seen this before i spent 70k on one.   Mine is nothing but issues and seem to be getting worse.

A few months after i got it  the backup camera stopped working.......shortly after the tailgate started to drop at random.....the electrical gremlins are far from entertaining too, such as the passive entry works when it feels like it and turns on and off at will.  I lost the radio for about a week and out of no-where it started working again.  a few months back the truck wouldn't start......i thought i might have frozen diesel in the line so my son ran to auto zone for some additive and by the time he got back it had started.  The brake pedal is another story......the brakes will make the truck shake, sometimes so bad it feels like it could leave the road,  this only happens occasionally, it's not all the time.  the  trailer wiring has problems as well.  We have fairly new trailers and my son has a 24 ram that can pull either trailer with no issues so i know its the chevy.  The brake controller is so overpowered it will lock up the trailer brakes even with the gain as low as it will go.   Its so unpredictable i just leave it unplugged and go for it when i need the trailers.    Not exactly safe but i work out of my truck and Need it to perform every day.  with that being said i don't have the luxury of taking a week or ? off work to deal with this.  As far as stone chips, they are the worst out of any truck I've ever owned over the course of 30 years in the trades.   I added fog lights some time ago, along with the factory harness and dash switch but 3 dealers its been to can't make them come on.   I read its just a code from gm but 3 different occasions and no solution.   I wouldn't even been able to get that done if i hadn't been on the same job as my son and had a ride back and forth to the jobs we were on at the time.  each time i was charged for their time but still no lights.....pretty much given up on it.

at the same time, my sone bought a gas 2500 ram that tows everything we have with no issues and hasn't given a single problem with nearly 100k on the clock.  i have 60k on the chevy.

Id really like to see manufacturers take the full brunt of these recalls and issues.   For example come to my home or job site, pick this pos up and bring by another truck to use for as long as they like, and bring it back when they get they're ****** together.   Otherwise it does nothing but cost me, one way or another and "sorry to hear your having issues" just doesn't seem to cut it.   As mentioned, 30 years buying and wearing out trucks, i have some experience dealing with junk.   Ive been through them all and honestly don't know what to do or where to turn.  Never owned a toyota or mercedes van etc.....maybe that's rainbow at the end of the road, don't know.   wish you all lots of luck, my past experiences tell me to start looking for a trade or simply get rid of it.......

Sorry you’re having so many problems. No one wants to deal with that.

But it’s good to remember that many of the people who join forums or groups initially do it because they have a concern or problem with their vehicle they are researching. So your results are naturally going to be heavily skewed higher. And then on top of that, most people won’t take the time to respond to a survey unless they feel like it applies to them personally so again, your results will be heavily lopsided and lacking responses from the majority of people who haven’t had issues. A sample size of 210 also is pretty small since they crank out far mor than that every single day at each factory. That’s far less than even 1% of owners.

None of that is to question the reality of the problems you’ve had or that others have had. But to say it’s a widespread problem is a stretch.

Hope you get yours fixed or replaced or another solution that is satisfactory to your situation though.

When I left Oshawa Truck in 2008, that was half a shift's production.

I bought a 2024 a year ago September. 30,000 klicks later it's been back to the dealer twice for the fee oil changes.

EDIT: Build date for the truck was June 2023.
