I had a Dee Zee bed mat in my 1500 and loved it. I have been waiting on them to become available off of backorder since last May.

What are you guys using if you are?

I have the GMC accessories rubber bed mat in my 3500hd long bed. It’s 3/8 thick and fits perfectly. I bought it through my Chevy dealer (gives better prices on parts than the GMC dealer next door) for about $160. I bought it primarily to keep my camper from shifting, but it’s also nice when the camper is unloaded.

I too had a Dee Zee in my 2018 1500. Great mat and I wanted to get the same for my 2500. I didn’t see one on the Dee Zee site so I’m not sure what other sites are showing as “backordered”. I used my “Chevy Rewards’ points and bought one from a Dealer in Georgia. Does fit perfect, has a bow tie and is black but it is not as thick and heavy as the Dee Zee mat was.

Go to tractor supply or fleet farm or equivalent store and pick up a 5/8” thick 4x6 barn stall mat. They are 40 bucks and are meant for horses to walk on. They will outlast any truck and are cheap but extremely durable. About 100lbs of black rubber.

Thanks for the replies.

I checked the GM internet parts sites and they average $230-$260 shipped. For the quality of the DZ (part number DZ87022) I think I'll wait it out a little longer and hope that they become available.

Summer of 2021 when I bought mine Dee Zee did not have ones for the long bed - just the standard hd bed.

It might be worth calling a few local dealers to get a price on the GM mat. Mine was quite a bit cheaper from the dealer than buying it from gmpartsdirect and similar when shipping was added. I suspect it was because they could get it from the distribution center as part of a large shipped load so the shipping cost was very low.  I had to wait about a week for it to come in their weekly stock parts delivery.

I only paid 150 for my longbed gm one, used rewards to pay. Delivered to a local dealer.

I use the Chevrolet accessories rubber mat. Bought it with the My Chevrolet Rewards.
Works great and nothing slides around in the bed.
