For those interested in/required to have a front plate on your new truck.  I wanted to add a front license plate bracket to my new 2024 Sierra 1500 Denali but didn't want to drill holes in the bumper.  I couldn't find an OEM bracket so I found one at Cravenspeed.  Pretty expensive but the mount is solid with no holes in the bumper.  I added some rubber bushings, not shown in my pic below, around the fasteners so I could tighten the bracket without scratching the bumper.  Very pleased with this bracket.

The factory bracket mounts lower, down in that chrome center plate.  4 rivets hold it, the holes are drilled into that chrome area as its plastic.

If you go through a car wash I would remove it cause it's just waiting to be ripped off by the front rotating brushes.

Agreed, but I don’t do touch carwashes.  An occasional touchless but mostly hand washes.

just picked up a new (to me) 2024 Denali Altimate 2500HD and it does not have front license plate bracket. Can not find how the OEM bracket mounts..... does anyone know how? If I have to drill holes into the steel bumper, I might just skip the $40. OEM bracket and press in threaded inserts... any comments?

The factory bracket mounts to the plastic fascia of the bumper.

Every dealer in front license plate states or provinces will be able to fix it up with the conversion kit..

If the vehicle is factory shipped to a license plate state the parts (rpo VK3) will be factory will installed.
