I know what he means,my 2024 LT 1500 has this issue.  Glad to see it just not me. Just out of the blue you use the turn signal and wipers cycle.  Sometimes once or 3 times.  Seems if I turn on signal down towards steering column it don't do it.

Great news... I -never- had this issue prior to the recall and it is now confirmed as YET ANOTHER problem that has been introduced to my truck.

I get this today.

Rich, your Chevrolet Silverado is due for a software update that must be performed at a dealership. This update will provide software improvements and optimize your vehicle for future over-the-air updates. Once completed, your vehicle will have up-to-date technology, including the latest infotainment features, performance enhancements and more.

Called the dealer and they tell me the update was the one that happened a few weeks ago and has been completed. This is second time I have got an email from GM for an update that has already been done.

Anyone else have his issue?  I have yet to get an update notice on my app either. Just email.

I received notice of needing an update via recall multiple times. Seems like the dealership is slow to update records, or maybe GM just doesn't intake the information and update in a timely fashion. Same exact thing occurred for me and dealership told me I was all set. A week or so later, the information online was updated to reflect the same via GM.

More than once I've got the notice after the work had been done.

No harm / no foul.

GM doesn't seem to send all the notices out at once, (based on reports hear and other forums about notices received)

Presumably they don't flood the dealers.

I've had dealer advise me of updates when I've arrived for something eles (some are silent -- do them if the vehicle is in)

They can easily check vin for outstanding recalls/updates.

I've had dealers call me to schedule when a recall before I've received a notice.

I've also had them check when I was making and appointment, find a recall/update and as if I wanted it done as well.

You can also check the phone app for updates and recalls.

It will list the ones that are outstanding and the ones that have been completed.

'Help centre' > scroll to bottom > 'Recall and warranty' > scroll down to  'Safety, Non-compliance & Emissions Recall' > should have choice to pick Incomplete or Complete

Mine are all done.

Complete section shows a couple recalls and a

'Customer Satisfaction Program' - Serial Data Gateway Module(N242435631)

I got a letter about a recall. Booked the service, had it done. The app never notified me about an open recall.

Two weeks later, GM updated their info to show my service had been done. A week after that, I got another letter about the recall.

Their process, like their software, is terrible.

I am still getting notices about my "first free/complimentary oil change" I've had 3 oil changes so far, and I paid for the last two. When I brought it in with the notice that I had another free one, they told me they'd only find out if I were to be charged upon invoice.

I don't think my app 'notified' me.

It did show up in the 'Help centre' location when I looked there before the work was completed.

Had the update done yesterday, and an Update for Supercruise maps, no issues with anything yet but I haven't seen anything different either. Oh Well!

I have a 2023 GMC Yukon, SLT. I got the recall notice in the mail and month ago, N242435631 .

I took it into the dealer and after a few hours they said my car "wasnt communicating" with the server/whatever the source of the update is.  And they dont know what to do.

So I left it at the dealership and its still there, they are trying to figure out why mine "wont update"

Anybody had this issue ?

Dealing with an incompetent dealership service team? Yeah. Happens every time I have to take my truck in for warranty work or a recall. My truck no longer goes to the dealership until I have a case open with Chevy and have discussed the work to be done with an agent.

I am debating about going and having a chat with the dealer. My dealer does a great job but obviously the programming issues are out of their control.  But getting tired of the audio blinking out for 1 second  every few minutes, black partial screens and unresponsive system.

I feel this is a GM issue and they have not resolved it yet but also feel if I dont go ****** to dealer that doesnt help either.

I called dealer and they acknowledged its a common issue across several models.  Not going to lie, it ticks me off that you spend $70k on a truck, sign up for a required data plan to make "all' the stuff work and the thing has tons of issues.

I am not a big fan of this body style to start with but the refresh dash with technology package was one of the main reasons I decided to trade 'up'.  Or so it seemed at time.

I am just going to wait a couple months and see if GM comes out with any fixes.

Does it continue to keep dropping out every few minutes for as long as you drive it or is it just a few times at the start of the drive?
