We just got our best look yet at the next-generation 2027 Chevy Silverado, and it’s packing some serious updates! New spy photos reveal:

  •  Quad-tip exhaust – A sporty new design replacing the old “HDMI”-shaped dual tips
  • Suspension changes – Possible outboard-mounted shocks for better stability & travel
  • High-tech interior – A massive digital display similar to Cadillac’s curved 33-inch screen
  • Production-ready lighting – LED DRLs, new headlight layout, and a redesigned front end

With the next-gen Ford F-150 reportedly delayed until 2028, could GM take the lead in the full-size truck race? 🤔

What are your thoughts on these updates? Are you excited for the new Silverado, or are you waiting to see more? Drop your opinions below.

Shocks are in the same spot.  A certain "Authority" ran with that on the first set of spy shots, not sure why they thought of it.

I thought it looked the same too when I saw it posted there.

Curious what the thing in front of the rear tire below the rear door that looks like an old school traction bar.

Camouflaged 2027 Chevrolet Silverado prototype testing on public roads, showcasing revised exterior design, updated lighting, and potential suspension changes.

And the overhead console looks quite a bit different too.

Sorry for the photo source but I just noticed an actual key change and hopefully for the better.

The rear slider window.  It now is designed like the Ford ones where the slider is recessed and the window kinda borders around the slider.  This allows for only a 2 piece window so the main glass is one solid window like a non power slider window.  Should improve the window strength and hopefully no more rear sliding window leaks and housing cracks.

Looks like GM is staying with the wax frame coating, you can see where the assembly line frame cradle left smudge marks on the bottom of the side rails.  The chassis doesn't look much different than the current model.  Good catch on the sliding rear window.

I know it is all about money, but I like that Toyota's rear window, the entire window comes down.  At least that little hole will still allow people like me to run 16' boards up to the dash to bring them home from the lumber yard. 😂
