GM please bring Apple CarPlay iOS 26 widescreen to our vehicles

There's no reason you can't accommodate customer's wishes and allow those with widescreen infotainment systems to be able to maximize our CarPlay experience with iOS 26.

Don't count on it.  GM usually applies these types of updates to future vehicles and rarely pushes new features back to older vehicles.  This will incentivize you to trade up to a new vehicle.

THIS!! Gotta hold something back as then they can sell it as an upgrade in the new model!!

I thought GM is going the other way, and ditching carplay so they can "own" the experience, and just happen to make some money selling info about you, where you go, how you use your vehicle, and companys can pay GM for placement to helpfully show you while you use GM's navigation system.
