Radio upgrade to 13" or Telsa style in 2014 silverado?

In an effort to fix the backup camera I tried ordering one off eBay to replace the factory one. Claimed to be an upgrade but it’s equally bad if not worse.  
 

Has anyone found a replacement for the tailgate camera that seems to work on these larger screens?

I once read something on rear view cameras that made some sense.  It stated the quality of vehicle cameras is limited to the wiring. Something from a BMW with fiber will have the best clarity, while other wiring will lack clarity due to coax.

Seems weird a coax can't carry a video signal 20ft even HD.

Actually HD video quality was what I saught after when I found that info. 

 

I think the size of the video is related to what pixels the camera is setup for. While clarity is based on the coax or fiber optic cable. 

 

So, we all have not soo good clarity. Anyone remember that company that was all the rave with their replacement tailgate backup boasting clarity? That may be a better option then the ebay deals. I have the ebay on mine and yeah, clarity isn't like watching 4k, but will do while I reverse.

I believe you may be talking about this one. This is the one I swapped my OEM out for and it does have a much better picture. Seems like the price may have dropped a bit.

I seem to remember that Camera Source is the manufacturer but it was also sold at ADC Mobile so the exact same camera.

I guess I don't backup enough to worry about the quality of the camera. Now I didn't upgrade to the huge Tesla type screen but I did do the Pioneer 6000NEX 10.1 screen and the image is fine with that one. I did see a post on FB about a camera that was on discount from Rockauto that was like $40 but they sold out before I could get one. $40 is a lot better than $200 especially since I don't reverse much

I got the Pioneer NC-BD6Pioneer when I installed a Pioneer 4000nex in my '04 3500, and it has a good image both day and night viewing, but I've got a flatbed, so it was relatively easy to mount the square cube so it was hidden/protected while also postioned to aid with backing up and seeing the hitch.
