lower ball joint replacement

hello everyone,

this is my first time visiting this site and i cant wait to start reading. my first question is if anyone has any detailed info regarding lower ball joint replacement on a 98 ZR2. i'm very mechanically inclined so i'm sure i can do it with instructions.

I wish I could help you out but I haven't had to chane mine yet (knocking on wood while typing).

If you don't get much in the way of answers here,you may want to visit zr2.com and start a thread in the "Ask Mike" forum as he has been through these trucks top to bottom,including transplanting an LS1 in place of the 4.3 V6.

thanks, yeah it does seem that 36,000 miles is early to replace both lower ball joints on a truck that doesn't see any offroad time and is greased twice a year. :angry:
