the truck has started driving funny on the highway.

When driving sometimes the RPM's will go down and then back up a few times and the truck will slow down and speed up, seems to happen 3 or 4 times per incident.

Any thoughts on that one?

Sounds like torque converter locking and unlocking. Does moving the shifter to 3 instead of overdrive stop this, assuming this is an automatic...

Can they put the scanner on the truck to see if it is the torque converter?
