I have a 2000 Silverado single cab. I am wanting to check the air conditioning air filter that is in the cab, I can't see to find it though. Where is it?

When you buy a new filter from an auto parts store, the instructions many times are in the box. Purolator #A45314 is the last one I used. seeya.gif

What about for a 2004 Crew Cab? Do they have an in cab filter?

Good because I hate the sweaty sock smell that a dirty/moldy filters makes after it gets a little moisture in it...

Finally realized my wifes car has one of those, checked it after 6 years. Surprised any air actually went through it...

Im changing mine tomm. It is located under the pasenger side dash. It's more than likely gonna have two filters. Take the screw out of the cover, remove the old ones, slide in the new filters. Its pretty simple and worth the effort

Passenger side, under dash. Remove three screws, then one additional screw that holds the actual filters (2) in place. Pull them towards you (front to rear) one at a time.

They come on a pack of two, airflow arrows should point to the drivers side. Replace every 15,000.

Yes there is stuff you can buy to spray into your ac evaporator air box. It clean up the stuff in there. This is probably where your funk is coming from. Also check and make sure your drain line is open and free flowing
