My covers are ordered. I had parts ordered after the first TSB so no one has to check anything. I'll let you know when they are installed and provide pics if no one has before that.

Ok Daddy, we'll hold you to it...don't pull a "Rich" on us... :D

Katskinz are freaking sweet! My buddy has a Yukon with 'em.

I have them, and they are great. Like sitting on butter. Can't wait for the warmer weather so I can drive to work naked :fume: .

I have an appointment to have my covers installed on Tuesday. So last night I decided to stop by the dealership on my way home and take a look at the new covers. I couldnt believe it; they were not the covers in the pics from a few posts back, they are identical to stock  . Not only that, when she pulled them out of the bag lint was already balling up on them. :D

So I don't know what is going to happen at this point. Service manage was gone for the day so I guess I will drop by Monday.

I went to the dealership last night to work out a loaner deal with them. I sat on the new seats and they even had the new material in the book, right next to the old material. The bolster material does seem to be the exact same, but the insert material is way different. It’s a little shinny, but I would rather have shinny than lint.

I can hardly believe it...I check in here, and the impossible seems to have happened. I've talked to my dealership service writer twice about this, and regret that I didn't have him document it (he just shrugged). I'll be heading down there TSB number in hand Monday...with any luck, they'll let me go the difference for leather.

The bolster part on mine is the worst. I have the 19C seat and it already has the smoother insert in it. The dealer order my set and we are waiting for them to come in. He said part of it is here and waiting for the rest.

Hmmm...it almost sounds like they ordered the wrong covers. :(

Sounds like the original parts from the original TSB. That's what happened to me. They ordered the parts and when I showed up to see them they were identical to the old ones.

Make sure they looked up the newest TSB on this. There have been three of them so it might be possible.

From the looks of the pics of the new covers they look like the material thats on my 08 All Terrain that I purchased in september. The center is a semi-shiny material that doesn't really gather lint but the bolsters are still link magnets. This is what I was worried about I guess I'll be sticking with my original seats.

May of last year they ordered the wrong seat covers (same as stock) which is what the original TSB said to order.

The seat covers that just arrived are the ones that have been on order since late last year. Who really know's what has happened at this point. I will find out on Monday.

The tsb does not appear to include the 09 models. Is that correct? I just bought an 09 Silverado with the ebony seats and these seats are lint traps. Should I take the TSB to my dealership anyway when I bring this up? Has anyone else reported this with the 09s?
