hey, i was curious what you guys think my best bet for a brake upgrade would be??(2007 NNBS 1500 CC) I was thinking powerslot rotor's with hawk or EBC pads?? which one would be my best bet?? my stock rotors are screwed and i would like to upgrade them rather than having them turned.

i have searched and i came up with powerslot's, are there any alternatives??(pro's/con's of slotted?)

Thanks for the help-

I don't have any experience with Powerslots but they'll probably be fine. Do you do a lot of towing or anything else that puts a heavier than normal load on your brakes? That may make a difference.

Also, we like to use the GMT platform designation to avoid confusion around here. If you aren't sure what I mean by confusion, check your NNBS post versus your NBS sig!:thumbs:

It's slowly driving him insane.

Travis, do you tow a lot? I haven't had one single issue with my brakes. I tow a travel trailer through some tough mountain passes.

Hey, I haven't done much towing yet. but i do haul heavy loads in my bed such as when im heading to the dezert with a quad, dirt bike, food, passengers, gear anything else.my brakes do tend to get toasty when slowing down. i am very easy on them for the most part and DO NOT RIDE THEM. for example one time coming from mountain high with snow in the bed of the truck coming down the mountain my brakes faded really quickly.

what would some other options be for a quick upgrade as my factory rotors are somewhat warped and have huge lines in them from having my pads changed once already(dealer replacement).

thanks-Travis

sorry if i have been unclear

hey travis i would look into stainless steel brake corp they make a larger 14" rotor kit for the front and it comes with brackets to move the calipers out and also the rotors are slotted so cracking won't be issue. The part # is A126-47
