  2. Added picture of the wheel/tire setup. I love how they look. They have a textured finish that is almost impossible to get dirty. Just rinse them off and they are good to go. I wanted something other than the normal fuel wheel setup most people have.

  3. Added some APS iBoards- 6" Aluminum Running boards. Seem to be awesome for the price (less than $220 shipped). I really like the simple design and they are nice and sturdy. We will see how they hold up I guess... Also found a nice place to keep my beating stick, lol... And I keep forgetting what option package I have so I ordered these, lol. I would welcome some opinions on the glovebox emblem. Too much? I like it but I'm sure the wifey will be rolling her eyes. Easy enough to take off if it starts to bother me, but I think it adds a little to the dark interior. What do you guys think- just curious. I still have one more emblem just waiting to get stuck somewhere too.

  5. Installed my add a leaf a couple of weeks ago. Rear is still settling. Here's some before and after pics. Before the front was exactly 1 inch higher than the rear. Now the rear is 1 inch higher than the front. It should settle another half an inch. I like having some rake. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

  8. Local dealer said 84263801 was the pn for the double cab T1s. Parts ended up fitting okay but the instructions are terrible/wrong. Here's what I learned. (be advised I have a Silverado LT) You need to remove the existing trim/flap pieces and pull out the outside square nut in back, u nut in front (leave the rest). When you replace that outside screw it'll pickup the U nuts that comes on the liner. There are cutouts in the liner for the other nuts. The rear trim piece is held on with two white pop fasteners that slide into the plastic trim piece body. You want to pop those out from the back and not just gently pry from the front or you can break the tabs on the trim piece (ask me how I know) The expanding square nuts go into the square cutouts in the wheel well, NOT the 'back of the wheel house liner' like the instructions say. The 'plastic threaded nuts' have no threads. I used one of the T15 screws in the kit as a tap. Leave 5 threads showing or you'll bottom out the scre/dimple the back of the nut. These are the fiber mat type, similar to the fronts. The whole thing doesnt fit as tight as my father in laws GMT900 Z71 at the ends but not badly and I am happy to have these in. Looks way better than the white bed showing.

  9. Picked up my Sierra last week, so decided to see what we could fit on it today. Installed the rough country 2” level and a set of fuel gripper m/t’s In a 35x12.50. After some trimming of mud flaps, removing bracket behind fender liner, and tying the fender liner back. Rubbing is gone. So if you’re not scared to trim some plastic it can be done. I think it looks good, let me know what you think. I knew worked on at4, couldn’t find anyone to confirm if would fit a standard level.

  10. A couple of weeks ago I saw an ad or post from Battle Born Off-Road about a behind the grill light bar for the 2019 Silverado. I was quite interested because I have read about problems putting a light bar behind the grill on these new models because of the active shutters in front of the radiator on these trucks. I had a behind the grill light bar on my 2016 Sierra and the extra light really helps on some of the dark areas I roam... I was quite disappointed to find that I may not be able to have the same thing on my 2019 Silverado RST. So Battle Born Off-Road posted an add for a set-up made by Baja Designs. It incorporated their S8 20 inch light bar, a wiring harness and mounting brackets. I inquired about the kit and if it would actually work. These guys called the manufacturer and confirmed it, so I pulled the trigger. The S8 light bar is awesome and it has a pretty slick amber accent light built in. This 20 inch bar really pumps out the light and has focused lenses on the bar. Installation was quite easy and after I got the grill off it took about an hour. The only week part of the kit is the directions in terms of removing the grill on the Silverado... If you are looking for a behind the grill light bar for the Silverado, this kit should top your list. sorry for the picture quality, but it's all I have at the moment.

  11. Got me beat, I bought the same truck in NJ and paid 60k plus taxes, title, but I bought in December when there were basically no deals being given.

  12. I though they were 600 springs but not [emoji817] %. Ride quality is freaking awesome though. Very pleased with this set up... even on my 22’s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. Yeah I’m disappointed honestly. Why they only came with two lights and not 4 who knows. I get the cargo light should illuminate the rest of the bed and with an LED bulb it does ok but come on. I have a toneau cover so 4 lights would have been the tits I think I’m gonna do the same. I got a set of white led rock lights I was gonna use for another purpose but I think I may use those in the bed. They already have 6’ extended wiring on them so a quick tap into the oem harness, a couple self tapping screws and I should have the bed lit up in no time. Sounds like a good project for tomorrow.

  18. Or put rock lights on everything and just let the haters hate while you enjoy your truck just the way you like it.

  19. Gentlemen, Sorry for the late reply as I've had these installed for well over 2 weeks. I've attached some pictures. The truck was completely leveled with the Bilstein 5100s at the highest setting. Front and rear it was spot on. Some notes: As others have said, take your old strut assembly somewhere to get them swapped. We had a hell of a time. We tried a floor mounted spring compressor to no avail, and the rentable threaded rod tool also. I ended up giving up and taking them to a local shop. Much easier, cost around 45 dollars. The rear installation took about 15 minutes on a lift. Super easy as expected. The ride has improved so much from the stock Ranchos. Those things are garbage. With the wider stance the truck feels much more stable as well. This setup rubbed at about 3/4 to full turn, and reverse was almost un-useable. I went and bought the Rough Country Fender Trim pieces and broke out the angle grinder. This was much easier than I thought it would be, and now i have ZERO rub. Full lock turn, full lock reverse. Can't even tell I did it. I saw people doing the NorCal mod but for 17 dollars, the trim plates seemed like the way to go. This setup is great. Rides great, looks great. I might go with a 4" Fabtech sometime next year. I'm not quite sure. I'm so happy with the ride quality i'm not sure I need to do anything different. I would only consider it to lift the truck up a bit more. The next day I took my truck to get aligned as it was off pretty bad. I highly suggest getting this checked after doing the install. 2018 Chevrolet Silverado Z71 Midnight Edition Tires: Nitto Ridge Grappler 305/55r/20 Wheels: Black Rhino Barstow Matte Black 20x9.5 -18 offset.

  20. I’ve had four Hyundai’s wife drives a Genesis. I don’t have anything bad to say about them still have the first one 05 Elantra. It’s going to my grandson. I’m not looking to buy for a few years. It wouldn’t take much to get me in a G-70 with a stick. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  21. I'd really like to thank TinkeringFox for the awesome video and information. Have everything installed and functioning beautifully. 36,000 lumens on that light bar. I had purchased the OEM Sierra's RED switch by jumping the gun , but I actually think the Blue & Red match the instruments cluster pretty well. I'll take some pictures of the buttons illuminated later and where I installed my relay. I had a slightly different install.

  23. Does anyone know the range of build dates? Is it all or early like the window? Wondering if it is widespread or changed already on trucks now.

  25. I have the Fox 2.0 shocks in the front. They raised the front 1.5 inches. I had them put on at 14,000 miles and the steering didn’t go bad until 65,000 miles. So I highly doubt the shocks did anything. I had purchased an aftermarket extended warranty when I bought my truck and they have covered everything, no questions asked. I paid $700 for the warranty, to date they’ve paid out $5,000 in repairs. I’m not sure how GM warranties the steering assemblies but I do know their is a TSB floating around telling dealers that the level kits with the shim insert cause problems.

  26. I think it's all part of the "dramatic weight reduction" they have been raving about. Once that settles down see what happens... Just my thoughts. I'll choose range over mileage any day, gimme a big tank please!

  27. $150 for the set OEM. I like the new style, too. They’re not plastic but kind of a fabric material. I find they clean nice and I don’t have to scrub them with a brush to get them truly clean.

  31. Mine has done it a few times. I could fix mine by using the my Chevrolet app and sending a navigation destination to the truck. It download what was sent and It would clear the red x and start working fine.

  43. These trucks are direct injected, they don't get the benefit of the atomized fuel cleaning the valves as it enters the cylinders. A good pcv catch can is almost a necessity. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
