Wheel Well Liners

What is everyone paying for these? I called the dealership today and they said 118 each, im in canada so i expect them to be more but i thought people were saying $85 for the pair. About half the paint on the top of the wheel wells is chipped off shoudl this be painted before i put wheel well liners on?

it was about $87 to my door iirc

 

if your paint is chipped through the primer to bare metal it wouldn't be a bad idea to hit it with some primer first, regardless with humidity alone bare metal will rust.

I have been debating on whether or not to get these for a year. But yesterday I just went out and did it. $99 for the pair. Installation was easy. I did not remove tires. The liners fit tight! I only used the plastic retainers and chose not to use the self tapping screws. But I see no need to use them. I think this is a good mod and am very happy with the results!

I had mine installed at the dealership before I took my new truck home. 135.00 (Cdn). I think they look great. Even though my truck is black!

I installed some of these last night. Total was $88 shipped from GM parts direct. Installed in about 20 minutes without removing the wheels and I did use all the screws. The only tricky part of the install was figuring out which side was which. They are almost symetrical but if you look closely you will see that one side has a different shaped recess to allow clearance for a grounding screw and cable on the driver's side frame.

I have a 2010 2500 - the only part number i can find on gmpartsdirect.com is 19166677 but it states they're for a 2007. I'm a converted Dodge owner so my apologies for asking a dumb question but I don't know whether there were any changes between the 2007 and 2010 concerning the box / wheel wells.

Nope,No changes....They'll work for ya'

 

You didn't say if you have a Chevy or GMC.....Just make sure you pick the correct ones,The bedsides are different.

 

19166677 is for GMC

19166676 is for Chevrolet

Not sure where your bags would interfere, but this may help. I needed to trim mine just above the rear of the leaf after installing my 2" shackles. They were rubbing so the dremel fixed it.

You would have to trim that entire section out. It is formed to sit flush on the frame.

Perfect and thanks for the quick help. That will be no problem after the wheel is off so I get a good cut. Measure 18 times cut once!
