Where Do The Wrecked Trucks Go?

Searched around the many wreck/parts yards... nothing newer than a 2001!

 

Maybe someone that works in insurance/towing can tell me, where do the wrecked 2007+ trucks go???

 

Insurance company's have their own special chop shops?

I wonder the same thing . I have called basically every salvage yard in Houston and Dallas area..... no one has anything new. All I want is the damn floor center console!!

Even if they are totaled they are still worth rebuilding. This is a big business.

i rebuilt my '03 it was light rollover(probably a snowy ditch). Paid $4500 for the truck and after all was said and done i had $7500 into it When i bought it it had 44k miles on it and since then i've put over 50k and it hasn't left me stranded even once or cost me any money. Truck is totally paid for which is NICE. ~Cole~

around here there is good money to be made on totaled vehicles from insurance auctions. people buy them, ship it across the border to Mexico, repair them, and ship them back into the US with a clean title, and NO Carfax report and resold as just a used vehicle..buyer beware..
