i heard silverado ss come with a 4:10 gear ratio stock front nd rear is that true??? can anyone tell me the specs on the stock difeferential??my question is would i be able to swap differentials with a silverado ss so i can put it in my 2003 gmc sierra z71 sle ?????? would the diff from a silverado SS lets say 2003-2004 fit on my truck???

the SS with AWD came with the 4.10 stock. RWD SS came with 3.73 gears. the front diff will not fit your 4X4. the cross member's are different and will not mount. the rear will interchange with your truck.. if you want the 4.10's then just re gear what you have in the front and swap the rears..
