I read some where that when you drive in deep snow with our trucks you supposed to turn off Stabilitrac and traction control and of course you will be in 4x4 already in order to lesson the chance of getting stuck.

Haven't tried it myself yet.

I'm so jealous...used to live in Alaska but involuntary move to south Georgia left me unable to play in anything except occasional mud. Fun but snow is soooo much easier to clean off. Enjoy & take some more pics...miss that scenery.

I'd love some snow/ cold weather asap. My boat is stored and nothing is frozen enough to ice fish.. I'm slowly loosing it!

Very true, you want to keep forward momentum in mud or snow. I just turn off traction control (traction control reduces engine power when the rear wheels are slipping). I keep Stabilitrac on as that applies break pressure to either rear brake during side ways movement to help straighten you out.
