Cargo bed light

The little knob to the left of the steering wheel that adjusts the interior light. You have to turn the interior lights all the way up and then the cargo light comes on. It's a crappy design. You should be able to turn it own without turning the interior lights on, but you cant.

Just realized you said nbs or GMT800. My answer is for nnbs GMT900. I dont know if it's the same.

Sir dan, dont bother replying to forum topics if you have nothing usefull to add, you must really have nothing better to do. Do you not think if I could find my owners manual that I would have checked?!

Ya its the gmt 900 nbs. I tried turning it all the way to the one side as that is what I thought it was but it wouldnt come on. Bulb was burnt out, just changed it over to led. Glad it works atleast!

Thanks for posting a solution (link to owners manual) RyanbabZ71 and not just a useless comment like some others.

I'm not a fan of the current setup either. Granted the light is now absolutely useless because of my tonneau cover- even folded up it blocks light from shining into the bed but the functionality is worthless. It doesn't turn on if you're moving so you can't check the security of the tie downs that I know you all use as responsible folks and even if you could, with the dome lights on the reflection on the glass makes it all but impossible to see the bed.

I'm going to try something tomorrow. What happens if you hit the dome light cancel button (by the dome light / interior light / cargo light knob) and then turn the knob to make the cargo light come on? Will the interior lights stay off and the cargo light come on?
