Will a 2.5" Leveling kit let me run 305-55-20 tires?? 2007 LTZ

I am considering new wheels and tires for my 2007 Chevy. The tires I am considering are Pro-Comp

305-55-20. I am also thinking about buying new wheels. Anyone have this same setup?

can I just install the simple 2-2.5" leveling kit? What offset should the new wheels have? any help?

thanks,

Newby Mike

If you keep your stock rims....they might fit....but you may need to trim quite a bit. The 305/50/20 is a safe alternative that will also look really good.

No where do they state the tire size will work. Your tire is a 33.2x12.

Just search this issue on the fourm and you will quickly find that trimming will be required.

But to each his own.

With 4" lift I still had rub at full lock. Switched to 265/70/17, no rub, better gas mileage and way cheaper to replace the rubber.

I’m running it right now with no rubbing at all. I think the trick is to keep your stock rims. If you offset, then ya’ll have to trim.
