I think next step is to cut out the resonator. If that doesn't do it then I'll take it off and sell it and get some sort of cat back exhaust.

I wouldn't pull the resonator if I were you, It is tuned for cruising speed and on long trips you will be very annoyed by the steady rumble. It will get louder but you'd be better to exchange the muffler for a louder if they'll take that one back.

Went ahead and ordered this today

We have a well so the water is terrible for washing, lots of minerals in it. Hoping this will help, and prevent future water spots. I got 25% off my order with code CARWAX25 so brought the total to $105 if anyone is interested. Code good through the end of the weekend. This is what happens when you sit in a tree stand all day and get bored, you start spending money you don't have haha

I should probably look into a whole house system, or at the very least that system. I always have hard water spots the few times I actually wash my truck. Also doesn't help that the sprinklers at work spot the hell out of my windows and mirrors either :(

Also need to figure out who I want to go with to tune my duramax.

I'll let you know the results of it. It would probably help if I clay barred the entire truck and did the whole polish, wax deal with it before using it to be sure it's working properly. Black vehicles are just too hard to maintain, who's idea was it to buy another black truck? Lol

Not mine, that black tahoe I had as a loaner reaffirmed my never wanting a black truck in Florida. The only reason I'd get a black truck is because people expect black vehicles to be dirty so I'd fit that stereotype to a T. I think I still have some VA mud on my truck. Sometimes I envy people with tiny cars, probably takes 10 minutes to wash their car. An hour to clay and wash lol?

Takes me at least 2 hours interior. I've never done a full clay bar, compound, polish, and wax before so that would be an all day project for me lol

I think I've spent 6+ hours a couple times on my trucks exterior and interior. That's also with ADD kicking in and me being slow. Every couple years I get lazy and pay someone to do it, they always suck, and then I remember for another couple years to not waste the money and do it myself. Windows really bother me since most of my driving is at night, when they get done they have to be crystal clear, any streaking is instantly noticeable when driving at night. Just rained earlier today, wonder how many more spots I have.

Yup, same here. I do a lot of early morning driving so when the lights from another car hit the windshield I see the streaks, then I get into cleaning mode. Everytime I pay $20+ at the car wash I realize why I always do it by hand myself. Those machines suck on trucks, plus they don't get the wheels very well

I can't remember the last time I went though an auto carwash. Usually don't feel like folding in the mirrors plus finding a touchless. Although they are waaaaaaaaaay cheaper than paying someone to hand wash it.

Great now I'm looking into beefier hitches...stupid interwebs.

I used to make my ex fold my mirrors in as I drove through the car wash I worked at. I got joy from it. And she was an ex at that time.
