Out at Famoso Raceway for the Nostalgia Drags. Love the smell of Nitromethane

Posted

People never cease to amaze me!!! Had a call this afternoon from a guy asking if I could fix his dad's Colorado FOB. He said '' My dad said it worked fine until he drilled a hole through it to put his key ring because it had broke off'' LOL Well he had actually drilled through the board and even through the edge of the battery. I repaired the board, replaced the case buttons and battery and all's good.

I love hanging around the pits when nitro cars are running.

I watch all the young guys get in real close to see the engine teardown & reassembly. Then, when they fire the engine up for the first time, we have a good laugh as they all scatter like cockroaches, eyes tearing up like they got maced. Always entertaining!

Someone wrote on the front in huge black magic marker: "FREE Mexican cowboy hats" .:lol::lol:

Drove through Phoenix last week for first time. Had hard time keeping eyes on the road just wanted to stare at all the giant Cacti.

Washed the white off from friday.

802,522 - oil changed, gauged tires 9/32nds front, 8/32nds rear...

Rears lost 5/32nds in 13.5k miles damn these Michelin LTX AT2 melt off.

Just changed the oil. filled with Amsoil OE and a Wix 51522 XP filter. Also got some NGK TR5iX plugs. Messed up a wire. So I am sure I am running on 7 cylinders until the wires come in

Sunday finally got my old bed out of my garage and down to a coworkers cousin's place. Yesterday went to autozone to pick up 10 gallons of 15w-40. Today had my oil changed. Just need to do the Mobil rebate so I can get my $50 back again this year.

I got this one today from an other YouTuber DIYfer. Don't even know if I want to tackle this one....This hurts me too much!

This is a butcher job on the backplane of an instrument panel done by somebody who whatched a youtube video and all of a sudden thought he was an expert. This is what it's suppose to look like after you're done.
