What did you do with your truck/shop today

Changing the oil, sand blasting and painting the cover.

Drained transfer case oil and only a quart came out lol. It holds 2 quarts. Must have leaked out.

I drove mine to a buddy's house yesterday afternoon, and then back home this morning. Went 142 miles round trip, and pulled down an average of 17.6 MPG. I ran down yesterday at 65 MPH with the A/C on pretty much full blast. Not too bad for an older truck with 6 ply LT tires.

Today I pulled off the steering wheel cover/air bag and replaced the little tin plate chevy emblem. Now it looks new and smooooth. And.. I removed the tube steps as they were getting rusty and already had a hole rusted thru on one of them. Drivers side was a PITA to get off, the bolts were rusted. Passenger side came off quite easily compared. I'm assuming these were put on by the original owner of the truck back in 2012 when the truck was new. But given how well they rusted up, I don't think I will purchase any products from Iron Cross.

This is what they look like new.
