A "Sienna forum"? That's some borderline dark web stuff right there.:uhoh:

Yep some people modify the crap out of their vans, amazing

Suspension, rims, stereos, fog lights

Yesterday afternoon, my son and I replaced the front brake pads. Wil post pictures after I get home from work tonight.

In the picture below, you will see why I had to change them.  When I got my oil changed, they informed me that one of the pads was less than 2mm, that was 2 weeks ago.  The top one is the outboard pad, and the other one is the inboard pad.  Pads on the other side had a little more pad left then the right outboard pad, and they are evenly worn.  Went ahead and replaced all four.  Keeping the left ones, as a spare set.

Crossed 50K a little over a week ago.  Think it has 50400+ on it now.  But ODDLY, it was the right inboard pad as to why I had to change them.  (See picture above)

Since I started using Permatex Extreme brake grease (purple stuff), I haven't had the uneven pad issue happen. The stuff the autoparts stores give you  is garbage, IMO. Doesn't last very long.

Man, you guys are setting records with brakes! Most I've ever got out of a set was with the EBS Yellows on the Silverado - 32k & change if I remember right, and they were paper thin. Got my money's worth out of that set. When I first got my license, 10k was about it, maybe 18k with a standard transmission.

That's absolutely crazy! Wonder why the difference? I haven't had to change any of my trucks brakes since 1998 before 100,000 miles and even then most of them could have gone another 30-50,000.

Many miles of pulling a 5000# plus trailer (without trailer brakes) and in my young and dumb days I know there were breaking events 100 mph +.

My old boss couldn't get over 35,000 out of his brakes though.

How I drive, and where I live have alot to do with the miles I see.

Back when I was 17, getting 12k out of tires was great!
