Do you know the history of the JSF program? We aren't talking about the Stealth Fighter or the SR-71.

It was a complete mess, way over time and budget. Chinese hacked the Pentagon, stole the plans, and have what is essentially a Chinese fighter believe to be on par(maybe better since they know our secrets) that was designed, built, and put in the air a good 5 years before the JSF planes were on a comparative scale. When a Telegraph spy photographer somehow got a photo of the Chinese plane taking off for a test flight over 2 years ago, the Pentagon admitted their intelligence said it wasn't going to be flight ready for 3-5 more years. F35 was supposed to be in service years ago, and there is a whole conspiracy movement about Lockheed not getting the bid to build their version.

Its a miracle the plane turned out that good, but then again that is compared to the F16 which is pretty old by technological standards.

Its kinda scary how the US was SO awesome and advanced with the SR71, F15, F16, Stealth planes, and then the next generation there is so much crap going on no one can get the dang things built.

Some bureaucrats decide the money was better spent on server farms to violate civil liberty than get the military the gear it really needs.

I thought the F-22 Raptor was replacing the F-16? What I miss?

22 was to replace the 15. 35 was to replace the 16

I live no joke across the street from Quantico MCB's training grounds for their jets. I remember I looked up one time and I swear a jet was so close that it was about to touch the trees. Whole house shakes too lol

Sent while drinkin' a cold one...

Ohhh okay. I see.

There are three variants of the F35, one is VTOL capable to replace the Harrier, one replaces the 16, the other replaces the F-18

No way is china's stolen design on par with anything we've done. Those crooks can only build good stuff when a western nation is overseeing production. It's like when you see the knockoff F150 made there. Looks exactly alike but it has a small engine with laughably pathetic output. No doubt just about every modern defense program is bloated all to hell but china will never build anything of quality on their own.

I just washed her on Sunday but my front wheels are already slightly dirty from the darn pos pads! I can't wait to get the new pads installed and get rid of the dust and screaching.

Wash clay and wax finally a good day for it. Truck looks beautiful but I locked my keys inside while waxing the roof. . Soo now I'm waiting on my friends dad and his kit... could this week get any better?

Ok should I be worried about this:

My old driveshaft is the big one. The new one I got is smaller in diameter but the slip yoke and length and u joints are the same? Am I gonna like break this new one or should I be fine? It came from an 03 silverado extended cab short bed 4x4. Did z71's come with bigger rear shafts or did GM just decide to change the diameter?

I doubt the Z71 would have been bigger, seems like that would be cost prohibitive during GMs cost and corner cutting heyday.

Compare part numbers. Plug them into gmpartsdirect.com

Some dealer parts departments will also help you out if the above doesn't work.
