I was looking in another tread about a 90mm throttle body swap.. has anyone tried it?

You can't use the LS throttle bodies on your truck, they're totally different.

Sarah, I was referring to spotlighting to shoot being illegal. I know you can do it in the off season most places. In northern NH photographers to that to get photos of moose.

Yup, The LS7 TB is supposed to bolt right on to the GMT900's, which are all small blocks. Some discussion about it in an engine tuning thread about superchargers.10+ HP gain with a bolt on supercharger installed(EDIT: just saw your one in that thread, ).

I'm wonder how much power I'd gain from the 90mm TB with the FIPK& GMPD exhuast. I'd have everything besides the engine itself and exhuast opened up more at that point. I'm think 5-9 RWHP from just it?? No one will dyno just for that so who knows....

I know the LS7 will bolt up to a 900 but the person I responded to has a 800 with the 8.1, an engine that shares nothing other than piston count with the LS engines.

They are everywhere, like an alien invasion.

Luckily the neighbor next to that house has a Tahoe and all his friends have GMC's

Drove the truck to breakfast this morning and then came home to wash it. Going on a 200 mile round trip with it tomorrow.

It is impossible to keep my truck clean with the driving I do. This week will be 500ish miles, week before 700+, week before that about the same. Next week will probably be 1000 miles. I take it to a touch free wash to blast the bugs off the front but I haven't had time to give it a real wash since moving. I may just cave and pay someone to do a full detail on it before winter.

Found out I'll get relieved around 9 tomorrow night instead of 6 am Wednesday morning....so I'll be sliding in mine for the first time in 5 weeks on a 211 mile drive home.

My brother argued the merits of a minivan until he was blue in the face, always ending with "wait until you have kids"

Now I have as many as he does(2), and I'm rolling a Tahoe.

MAN CARD KEPT

Only minivan I'd consider is the Renault F1

From top gears review of the regular espace, the f1 would be about as fast as a slow turtle.

I wonder how difficult to start it is? My understanding is they have to circulate hot water in F1 engines to get them to operating tolerances.

Anyhow, I put quite a few miles on the truck this weekend, 16.7 mpg with the lovely KS wind. Maybe I should get a supercharger to improve it. :)

Not hot water but the oil has to be heated as it is injected into the engine.

I think the supercharger helps only when being bypassed and only because the tune seems to keep me out of the gas a little. I wish the dic showed intant mpg, it'd be interesting to see the mileage when I mash it...I wonder if it would change form mpg to gpm... :driving:

We had a Tahoe (08). Bought the Van in Jan 2012 and traded the Tahoe in on a Camaro in April 2012. I believe I still have my man card to as the farthest I have driven the thing is from the street into the garage. It is much easier loading both kids in the van. As long as she is happy (and I can have both my vehicles) all is well.
