I bought it off summit gonna see if I can warranty it out at the parts store I sent moog an email about it and they want the ball joint and copy of tow bill so if all else fails I'll just buy another and send this one to moog

I hope you were able to limp it to the parking lot! I'm sure recovery from the dunes is absurdly expensive.

It was 200 for him to tow it to parking lot and he even put it on my friends trailer I drove it off the trailer on my spare and onto the driveway on a jack.. very interesting.. I'm now stuck trying to get this stud out... it's ridiculous.

Donno what you have for tools or if it'll fit in the wheel well but for stuff like that I'd use a slide hammer attached to vise grips.

It's out had to hammer on the knuckle to loosen it out. Bnl motorsports has my control arm and will be pressing in a new ball joint tomorrow morning I'll be putting this back together tomorrow.

Amazes me how that thing just sheared in half. Makes me even more scared to even take my truck "off road"... and by that I mean going through a field to a fishing pond lol

Yea everyone is shocked becsuse usually they just pull out if stressed.. I have to warranty thru summit and that's not gonna work out so I'm sending it back to moog and see if they'll cover my tow bill
