The dealers in Jackson finally have 2014s in. The Chevy dealer had two or three I could see and the GMC just one. Really like the flare trim on the Sierra. That was a loaded SLT with an MSRP of like $48,000!

 

On their site they have it listed for $39k but that's with GM employee pricing. Seems like lots of dealers in Michigan advertise employee price which is a drag because its not a discount I can get.

What is disappointing is the one window sticker I saw only had 40% US part content. Hopefully the other cabs made in Fort Wayne are better in that regard.

So ive been trying to stain our fence and gazebo for the last 3 years.... weather was always an issue and whatever else... took a persoanl day today and did the whole thing. Worked out there from 11am-9pm! Im beat. Showered. still smell like stain. yumm

Check later for pics of a minor paint resto I did on my mazda. I love my new Griots Garage machine polisher. I waxed it at least 4 times a year using synthetic polyomer and hand wash it weekly or when needed during drought, using a wash and wax.

 

 

Even with all the care I take I got huge results. The pics are incredible. Had to leave before I could upload

I still can't get used to having a short (6ft) bed, or the looks of it. Even if this is my second truck with it. Forget what's now short bed, I have trouble acknowledging its existence. Maybe I'm just strange. I want my 8 foot bed back!

Got bored and optioned a V6 ram up to 42K on ramtrucks.com :lol:

You know someone will buy one.

 

They do. Car and Driver has one with a sticker more than that- $44-46k and it doesn't even have leather I don't think.
