This happened next door tonight as me and my neighbor were outside chatting. He had an old grille out for the trash.

I had an suv on the interstate in town that I stopped for no tail lights. Once I hit the lights behind it, I realized the guy had a platform rack in the hitch receiver that was so loaded with luggage that the lights were blocked. Then, because the license plate was not visible, he had written the plate number on an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper. I helped him get organized so they didn't get run into and sent him on his way. They were heading out of the country. It definitely takes all kinds.

Both photos are funny (and dumb) to me... but I've done my share of dumb things too. Well... not as dumb as these, but we all have our standards :)

We all said use my truck or Bryan's cummins but he refused. Probably why we don't really hang out with him at all.

Interesting how you took a lot of things out of that which wasn't said. I was pointing out you usually saying " look what stupid thing ______ did"

Wow you take everything personally don't you?

At $12 per 100lbs for scrap metal, this guy is probably doing really well. Not the brightest bulb in his methods of picking up items but if it is secured properly and he can see out both mirrors and his lights are visible then depending on the state laws it can be legal.

A friend of mine turns in scrap metal on the side and he tells me all the time that he makes some decent spending money off it.
