tried searching with limited success. If the interior sheet metal is the same on the 13 to the 14 does that include the stake pockets?? trying to order a headache rack and wondered if the 13 would fit the 14. thanks in advance

I'm going to get the block kit to help seal out dust, but I will go further and spray expanding foam into gaps if I'm not happy. In some places there is no reason spray foam could not be used to fill a useless void. As long as I dont block the stake holes or ties down points who cares.

This type of issue would seriously lead you to considera a different brand?

And if you need a completely sealed cargo area why not just buy an SUV in the first place?

Yes. The 2014's use the same bed interior sheet metal as the GMT-900's.

They may use the same press, but they do not use the same metal. They use cold rolled steel in the new trucks, hot rolled in previous generation. The newer cargo bed sheet metal is stronger and lighter due to the cold rolling process.

I dont worry about a complete seal, but I like to keep it as dust free as possible so when I haul my bags inside they dont track a farmers field in with them. Gravel is the only enemy, if I drove on all pavement I wouldnt care. One trick I have learned is to open the front and back of my Diamondback HD to force air through the bed once I hit pavement for half a mile. Blows it out nicely...just dont go to fast..haha.

I'm getting the seal kit Friday, so once the snow melts and it gets dusty I'll know how well it works.

Cool, I wasn't aware of that. Guess I should have said "The 2014's have the same bed interior dimensions as the GMT-900's."
