Yeah. Nevada does not have state income tax, so they get us other ways. It will be 1600-1700 to register it for 1 year!!!

Wow and they keep telling us here in NH ( no sales or income tax ) that if we get casinos then we can continue to keep having neither of those because the casinos would bring in X revenue. I guess that is not the case in Nevada, home of the casinos.

My 1st post on this forum.

 

Just picked up my new 2017 GMC Sierra All Terrain w/ Premium pkg. Crew Cab Short Box 4x4 with Sunroof and Trailer Brake in Summit White.

 

MSRP: $54,955.00

Invoice: $52,128.00

Price Paid: $39,955.00

 

Dealership was running a $15,000.00 off MSRP promotion on this particular truck so I jumped on it. It had all the exact options that I wanted. Drove 300 miles roundtrip to get it.

Included in that discount was a rebate of $5909.00 that came from GM and the remaining $9,091.00 was a dealer discount.

 

Did not have to negotiate at all as this is over 27% off MSRP. All other dealerships in the PNW are around $44-46k for this same truck.

 

I also paid an additional $2,750 for a full Bumper-to-Bumper Extended Warranty for 7 years/100k miles. They offered it for $5,000 and I negotiated that down. Never bought an extended warranty before but considering the amount of computers and technology this truck has, I figured it was worth it this time.

 

I live in Olympia, WA and bought from Autotown GMC in Gladstone, OR. From what I've seen on their website, they offer these promotional prices on certain trucks on a regular basis.

 

Judging by what I've seen on these forums, anything over 20% off is good so my 27% off is great. I was considering even flying out to Laura GMC to get one, but I don't think I've even seen them sell for this low price.

 

My advice is to be patient. I've been looking for around 3-4 months and just waiting until a deal this like popped up.

 

Great deal, congrats! I got to 27.5% off MSRP but that included my $1500 GM Card earnings plus another $1500 in Bonus Earnings that were good for Jan/Feb 2017.

Feb 20, 2017, Local Dealer advertising new Silverado, $19,995 on Facebook (Haven't seen a Silverado under 20K since 2008), WT short bed, nothing else, called and said I'd like to look at it, Of course it was sold, so I asked if he had another, No of course, so he told me a stock number, $20,500, Looked and it was a LS instead of WT with a couple extras, Brand New with 11 miles on the clock, Long story short, MSRP was $30,750, and I paid $20,500 without any down payment or trades figured in. Thats around 33% off (1/3 Off) thats huge.

A 4x4 under 40k is a hell of a steal. In Texas that puts you at about 37k plus fees and taxes. So effectively 15k off! I'd buy that all day.

Figured I'd put in my 2 cents since people may be looking at buying 2017s at the moment. Just bought a black 2017 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab LTZ 2WD, stickers around $47,500 and I got it out the door for $39,500 with a 3.5% interest rate for 72 months with $1000 down (this is a company vehicle so interest rates tend to be higher, planning on refinancing after 120 days). I live in Florida, and tax rate is 7% in my county (6% state, 1% county). If anyone has any questions, feel free to PM me, not an expert by any means, but I'll answer what I can.
