Rear Underseat Storage Box / Bin

Recommended Posts

I have the underseat storage bin (OEM) and I want to buy the weathertech digital fit mats, but I want to be able to remove the rear mat to vacuum. What all is involved? I read somewhere someone bought a rear mat fora different vehicle that fits perfectly, or something, any ideas? I have the OEM mats and the OEM upgrade mats and they all suck..

Also, on the front digital fit mats, do they still mount to the factory two mounting spots on the drivers side or does that need to be changed? Thanks

I also have the OEM storage bin and weather tech floor mats in my Double Cab Silverado. Although the floor mat does go under the storage bin, there is no problem lifting the front edge slightly enough to slide the floor mat out to clean.

I tried this morning but couldn't get that price at AA. I was able to get the same deal at Floormats and More though.

I'm thinking I could make something pretty nice from MDF or plywood and cover it in carpet for a whole lot less than this but it'd prob be pretty heavy

Just received my Husky Gearbox for my double cab. So far, I couldn't be happier. Fits like a dream and takes 2 minutes to install - simply secured into place using the existing jackstand bracket. Fitment is great and it looks factory IMO.

I went for the DU-HA just to match the interior color better. No complaints for storage.

Where did you get those door sill plates/shields?

They are AVS p/n 91636 for 01-07 Sierra HD Crew Cab and fit my 1500 Crew Cab just fine. Do wish they had them in Tan, but Black works just as well. Ordered from Amazon for $44.56 way back in May of last year. Prices may vary. Check various suppliers.

I have it on my truck and see it as a waste of space. Anyone know how tough removal is?(have not checked myself yet) Do you think I would be able to sell it back to the dealer? $140 value. Wouldn't mind the cash in my pocket.

Easy to take out, 2 bolts and it comes right out. Doubt the dealer will take it back, I love mine but I do a lot of cycling and like the extra space to put my gear in out of the way.

Are you talking about the rear cab underseat storage? Crew Cab or Double Cab? If I was anywhere near you, I'd buy it from you in an instant. I need a space to put my tie down straps, trailer hitch as well as my hard hat, boots and nomex coveralls for work.

I have the Husky Gear BOX for my Double Cab. It obviously don't have as much room as the Crew Cab one, but It carries all my junk that I had sliding around in the back just fine. Receiver and ball, tow strap, cargo net, box of upper tie downs, gloves, hat, large and small ice scrapers with snow brooms. I'm sure I'll find something else to add to the collection soon. I've only had it a week, so give me time.

Mine fits like a glove over the wall to wall Husky Weatherbeater liner under it, and under the seat contour/angle perfectly. Anchored by the Jack handle hold down clamp, and looks like it came that way from the factory. The only negative I can think of, is some day I'll run out of room for more junk, but I have everything I need in there for now.

Mine is for a Crew Cab
