Here's a pic of my '15 Sierra CC 1500 after I installed the Westin Sure-Grip composite running boards, Truxport Tonneau cover and WeatherTech mud guards.

I worked all summer to bring my family back here. I feel very blessed indeed. Completed one of my bucket list wishes and drove up pikes peak and about burnt my brakes up coming down. Lol. They have a checkpoint for taking brake Temps halfway down the mountain and mine were at 450 degrees. They asked me to pull over for 25 minutes. I gladly did.

Haven't been to pikes peak since late '90s. Really enjoyed the time spent in the Colorado Springs area. Good for you on enjoying such beautiful country.

Don't have hill decent assist/control?

Hell yeah mike, but only works at super low speeds and everyone was riding my butt on the way down and i was going the speed limit. You could literally smell my brakes burning. Never had that happen.Lol

It's all good man. I didn't either until that damn trip going down. I tried it in 4wd hi and low going down and my truck was making all kinds of noise trying to use the engine going down those steep roads. My 6.2 wanted to go but my brakes said no. Lololol

My hill decent works in the 40/50 range, haven't tried it above that yet.

Mine makes me slow way down before it even kicks in. Way below 40/50 range. That's weird.
