Any sound clips from someone with just a muffler delete and nothing else done?

Just my startup, no revs or anything. Video clip was shot on my phone and really doesn't do it justice. Sounds amazing.

Thanks, i need to see if it's illegal in VA to remove the muffler, since they now take the emissions straight from the OBDII port now.

hmm, just checked VA and it says it's illegal to not have a muffler. But don't these trucks have like 3 mufflers?

If you are in new York I will sell you my mbrp kit cheap. Had it on for 3 days. Way too loud for my taste but the overall tone was pretty decent.

I'm on the fence about selling it or using the 3 inch piping and swapping in another muffler. I would have a hard time selling it to be honest, since I did not like the way it sounded I would feel terrible if I sold it then the new person didn't like it. But if you want obnoxious loud and are in western ny, shoot me a private message.

I can try in the next couple days for ya, but I only have a phone to record it with so the quality might not be great. I have a 6.2l, and the airaid mit intake tube. I did do a decibel reading of stock, intake tube only, then the muffler delete and intake tube at wot. Stock was 70db, intake tube was 73db, and intake/muffler delete was 76 db.

While i don't know the exact muffler the borla ProXS 40359 Seems maybe a tad louder than the Touring but not as loud as the S-type. Which is what i ordered. This is what Ryan has in his video here.

It's to note the XR1s are supposedly much louder than the ProXS. I think most of the videos would have you fooled as the sound of borla across the board is pretty consistent but perceived loudness is hard to measure watching a video. Of some that i've talked to the XR1s are really loud. While idk how much the oval would tone it down just figured i'd let you know.

Yeah videos are hard to tell. I had be 22" magnaflow on my last truck and sounded ok. I just don't like the woosh sound they have now.
