We have talked about the djm arms before Plus i pull djm and inez off arms local trucks all the time. Poor design Those are also affecting your caster and steering. Twisted arm kit is the way to go for sure. If i was going any lower id do it. But im over being that low now. Especially here in califirnia the roads arent low friendly Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk Mississippi roads are also garbage. People see my truck and instantly think it probably rises terrible. The ones who actually get to ride in it can’t believe how good it rides, but I tell all that ask. You get what you pay for. I could be on full air for what I have tied up in my drop, but it rides amazing. It’s a long way from cut coils and shackle/hanger combos that everyone did when we were teenagers.

If it works for you then perfect. But most people dont want to tub and do all that work. Just like me Im going to be installing my twisted coilover kit in place of the droo strut. And im orfering the new twisted upper arm (which moves the wheels forward and corrects some caster) im also lowering it another half inch. The wheel not being centered bugs me on mine. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk Jumping in on this, I have the drop spindles for a 2"ish front drop and my wheels have moved back quite a bit compared to stock and I rub because of it. Will the Twisted upper control arms take care of this issue and center the wheel?

Supercharged18 Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 Has anyone done the strut from the top to the Bottom and how low does it go

Nasty Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 Theres no way thats stock arms and a drop spindle. Thats to far backSent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

I had an Inez arm in there but it moved the wheel even farther back. I put the stock arm back on and added the spindle. Closer to center by a little bit but the above is what I have with just the spindle.

Supercharged18 Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 Truck is stock height but rear blocks removed was wondering how low the front drops by moving the struts to the bottom of the control arm

The twisted upper arm will help correct that Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk Sounds like I'll be putting in an order soon then. When they did the alignment post spindle install the mechanic said that the upper arm was maxed out in terms of centering and showed me where the arm had been shifted. Forgive any terminology inaccuracies.

Nasty Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 Can you give me a solid reason not too Puts more stress on the strut. And itl shove your wheel back far. I fix that all the time for people that want to be cheapSent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
