I don't have the part number handy but you can Google duramax store and go there and get the part numbers and even order them thereSent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

No I appreciate it bud, I'm sure I can find it from there. I was just curious if you went with the 5100's or the HD's.

On a side note I've seen a truck rolling around town here identical to yours with black bowties front and back and it looked pretty slick. Man I'm jealous, I love your ride!

No it won't, use a good tuner.. IE rob, nick or kory. You can do tunes with LML that are 480-500rwhp that are somewhat tranny safe...just don't drive like a fool all the time it will be fine! When running hot tunes you just gotta stay on top of things...or don't run it hot all the time.. Only when a mustang pulls up beside you :)

Mines at 130k miles now stock head studs, injector bodies, cp3 and all driveline but transmission. Everything is fine running 60 pounds of boost!!! I know the reality of it tho, playing with fire...lol

If you start boost launching you will need beefy tie rods, pitman/idler arm braces...few hundred bucks.

I get about 17-18 avg so far with about 1200 miles with the Duratracs.

It does run like a hot rod compared to my 5.3. I don't think any warranty voiding mods will happen.

I like it a lot. I probably will only keep it 2 years or so. Maybe then the next gen Duramax will be out.

Yeah there's no way I could go back to a gasser after owning a even a stock dmax.. So much more enjoyable to drive. And I even get 17 to 20 mpg not deleted.

The next gen dmax supposedly is coming out in 2017... Afraid to see what's next on the emissions requirements..

Didn't know it was that far out. Had not researched it though, for the next Dmax I mean.

I do enjoy the driving though. It hauls my tractor very well. I also like that when I put my ATV in the bed it doesn't sag and require air bags like my half ton did.

All in all it seems that I should have at least went to a 2500, if even for a gasser, some time back. I pull a 20 foot trailer with 2 ATVs and a side by side Polaris at least 3 days a week, and this truck handles it a lot better. I use the machines for work.

The only improvements u would like to see is more back seat legroom, ac vents in the rear, and a better radio/nav system.

I agree I like being able to load a 700lb atv in the back and not being able to feel it while driving. I agree with everything you said, lack of rear leg room sucks compared to ford

Don't need to change as far as I'm concerned, ford sacrifices a lot of things making the cab so big on a crew cab. Engine bay is WAY tighter, truck is way bulkier but really has not advantage as far as I'm concerned. I for one hope they don't change the design or the engine. They can up the hp/tq ratings another 20-25% and still be reliable. Other than that leave it alone!!

Pretty decent mileage I might add as well, that's what I'm gettin with all the deletes...on 35's tho..

Either way they are amazing trucks in stock form.
