Thing is I don't have the paint in quantity though. If I did, say, if I had a gallon of the paint, then I could easily go and use the spray booth at my family's funiture store.

Now that I think of it, that wouldn't be a bad idea

Just gotta find out how much it would cost...

16, 32 or 128 oz...

1 gallon for $210.....

Kind of steep, might be cheaper to take all the pieces in and get them painted, if you do the prep work.

For all my trim pieces local shop wanted $250

That was if I dropped all the pieces off at the shop

EDIT: I'm really thinking of trying this. Next I'll just have to get the clear coat. How much of each do yall think I should get? I'm gonna do all the trim pieces, door handles, mirror caps, and tailgate handle. The bumpers I'll leave for a shop to do.

For that I would think 1 can of 2 part (2k) clear would work. If you want to go the aerosol route.

Yeah , I had it done before I bought the truck... Had all the work done before buying it. It was $385 for labor/paint on the bumpers.

Thx - I've only had the truck for about a month and I'm luvin it. It's a 4 inch pro comp lift, 33x12.5 Toyo mt's with 20 inch fuel Mavericks +1 offset. Also did the nfab steps and spray in bedliner. Recently plasti dipped all the badges black ( no pics yet). Rides much smoother/ quiter than I was expecting. Turn radius suffered but really doesn't bother me

Yea I see now lol but damn looks so oem even the sensors look painted over but then again theyre silver to begin with lol plasti dip is either hit or miss but for the price u can't be it and the flexibility of going back to stock.

Exactly why I love dip [emoji106] I have it on my interior and mirrors. About to use it on a chrome tailgate handle cover I purchase from Ebay so I can colormatch it.

I've seen bumpers matched for between $200 to $500 so I would think that for your bumpers to be painted flat black, you'd probably be around $200, to get all of the things you had dipped (assuming that is your headlight trim, grille, bumpers, bumper insert thing for the front plate,

If you remove all the parts and drop them off, I think you could get them to prep and paint everything for between $400-600. I don't honestly have a clue but this is about what I would be expecting to pay based off of the prices for other things I've seen people get painted on here
