The whole tailgate handle has since been painted WDT. It's a cheap eBay cover that I purchased along with door handle covers so I wouldn't have to deal with removing any handles. Plus if I ever got tired of it, I can pull off the handles. But, I will say these covers stick STRONG

I've been looking everywhere to get the chrome tailgate handle but just the handle everywhere I look the offered the whole setup (with the bezel) I just want the handle but can't seem to find it reason being I'm gonna have a shop paint to match the whole bezel and handle then I just like to put the chrome handle on top of the painted handle

IMO, the painted cap with chrome handle doesn't look that good, but I know it's personal preference.. I think either: chrome handle and black cap, or all color matched.

Yea all colormatched is another option since I will be getting it with real paint (not plasti dip or etc.) I'm really into luxury so I'm trying to achieve that I saw a member who had red Denali did the same his avatar has the pic of painted tailgate with chrome handle but I'm trying to see if anyone knows where I can purchase just the handle everywhere I look it comes with the chrome handle and the chrome bezel. I've seen trucks with the tailgate with that combo and it's too much chrome I think the chrome handle with painted bezel is the perfect combination GM really needs to offer that in standard or at least in the Denali

Yeah they should. I have the 2015 5.2 Denali. My tailgate set up is chrome handle with black bezel. I'm thinking all color match, but then I take away that accented feature.. I'm 50 yrs old, so I'm trying to stay classy with mine.

Chrome handle with painted everything else looks great for the first hour. Then the cool wears off and it looks bad. Haha. Js. Fully colormatch it and you'll be happy [emoji106]

For the forum. What's the best place to shop for plasti dip. Looking for someplace that carries an abundance of colors, as well as the pearlizer..My truck is the "WDT". I seen one member who did his fender moldings and they looked good. I just don't think using 5-6 layers of white will get me close to the WDT look.

If anyone has some experience with this please feel free to chime in. Thanks

The best place to get the largest collection of colors is on dipyourcar.com they have videos and instructions on how to mix and spray.

you can use as many layers of white as you'd like. 5 or 55, but you won't get anywhere close to the WDT color unless you use a few coats of pearlizer, around 3-5 to be exact, pending on how thick of coats you put on. Ive done it, and it works great. Echavez is the member you are speaking of and he has done his grille surround, emblems, fender moldings, and bumpers

I dipped them. Along with the bumpers, grille surround (MIKE), handles, wheels, door trim, and emblems.

I still say the grille needs to go back to black

. That or your rims should go back to chrome

That looks outstanding. I plan on doing my fender moldings, I think that's the right look. In respect to Mikes comment on your rims, if they went back to chrome, man that would look awesome, I believe they were, that's the difference I couldn't figure out. colormatch grill surround looks better than black, IMO. nice work

You indicate that 3-5 coats of "Pearlizer would enhance that WDT look. However, In your opinion. What number of coats worked for you in respect to the white?
