Just got my White color matched grille for my Silverdado today..!! Wish we had warmer weather so I could install it...

 

Hopefully I can sell my chrome one now.!!

What is the exact color of the paint on the GMC emblem? I am looking to do the same to my truck but I have the silver truck...not sure how it will look.

I just plasti dipped my front and rear bumpers. 5 coats of matte black, three coats of glossifier. Pretty happy with it.

Awesome looking truck with that plasti dip! i have the same truck and want to do exactly what you did plasti dipping the front and rear grill.... Ive never plasti dipped before so may I ask what type of plasti dip and glossifier you used??

 

Also was it hard to do? did you have to remove the bumbers off the truck to do it? and will the front and rear park assist still work?

I just used the name brand Plasti Dip matte black, and the plasti dip Glossifier. the matte black plasti dip can be bought pretty much at any hardware store, I know both home depot and lowes carry it. The glossifier I ended up getting at my local auto parts store. I bought 3 cans matte black and 2 cans glossifier. It's really easy to do, there are plenty of youtube videos that can walk you through it. Most important is to take your time. As for the front park/rear park sensors, I can't answer that because my truck doesnt have them. I'm sure another member here can answer that part.

The color is pretty good. My only issue is it is not as "shiny" as the rest of my truck. The rear bumper I think matches better because it's separated more from the rest of the truck because of the top step. The front is more noticeable because it meets right up against the body panels of the truck. Going down the road, or standing 10-15 feet away it's harder to notice, but I'm probably more anal about it than most people. No chipping or peeling at all and I've had it on for 4 months so far and have gone down dirt roads where i've gotten chips on my hood, but bumper looks great.

Part assist should still work. I've seen others dip over the assist sensors and not have any issues.

How's It going everyone. Its been a while since I've visited. I've been trying to acquire my CDL, which i did pass yesterday. I've been going thru this thread and found a lot of good topics, subjects and ideas. I was also on "realtrucks" dot com and found a few good projects that id like to do.

 

I haven't seen many GMC Sierra Denalis so i thought I'd be the first. was thinking about Debadging my tailgate, but just the red GMC logo. Also, Im am thinking about replacing the chrome gas cover with a color match one. I am going to add the Oracle lights as well as the fog lights, knobs on the inside, third brake light and move up in rim size. Wanted to solicit ideas from this forum to see what other ideas might be good. I have no intentions of lowering my truck, I have the Magna-Ride and have already seen a post about how stupid it would be to lower a truck that has this feature. I appreciate your ideas....

Not sure I understand what you mean by "wrapped" the bumpers.. Grill looks awesome by the way. I have a 2015 Denali, not really feeling the chrome grill. The honeycomb is tight, but there's just a lil to much chrome.

Vinyl wrap on bumpers is what he is saying. I would like to do this some day as well, or get them painted. I'm afraid I can't find a good match in wrap though.
