Vinyl wrap on bumpers is what he is saying. I would like to do this some day as well, or get them painted. I'm afraid I can't find a good match in wrap though.

Oh ok, thanks man.

Color matched tailgate handle...

That looks nice. Was the handle chrome prior to painting? Im thinking about painting the black vinyl part, and leave the chrome handle above...Nice job

I just plasti dipped my front and rear bumpers. 5 coats of matte black, three coats of glossifier. Pretty happy with it.51c37e751e913819b11053e2b9a6d11e.jpgad0f3d4e62d73b8308bdd79de17b0269.jpg

Im assuming they were chrome before the Plastidip? Good work, looks great

My new look. Chrome grill and headlights

Should I remove the plasti dip on the lower half or leave it white?

Btw, I have a work truck so it was all black when I started.

This was my first look...

Leave it white, it sets off the chrome grill. IMO

Thanks! Yes they were chrome before hand, I actually attempted to paint the front bumper but just couldn't get the high gloss finish like I wanted so I just went back to plasti dip for now.

Put the new color matched grill on this morning 0dcd3879778e19a2a41b9229bd52af55.jpg

See, I like the honeycomb look on my Denali, but it looks better with that separated look. Mine seems to bulky.

I painted it myself. The emblem comes out pretty easy and I used painters tape to covers the whole emblem, trimmed out the letters and used a wire brush to scuff before applying paint. 30 minutes total

Is scuffing required prior to painting? Planing on Plasti-dipping my front emblem and just seen your post. Thanks, looks good

My color matched 2015 Iridium Denali Duramax. Bumpers came painted but the rest of the truck had all of the "lick 'em stick 'em" chrome GM gets carried away with. I DO NOT believe in painting over the chrome and everyone told me you can't remove chrome from ABS plastic without messing it up....... I love it when people tell me something can't be done ;-)

Just the vehicle i was looking for. I have the 2015 Sierra Denali with the honeycomb grill. Im starting to think that the chrome look on the grill is a bit much. Can't tell from the distance, but did you also paint that "honeycomb" part as well? The grill surround looks sick. Nice job.

Surprised this thread isn't longer and that I didn't see any pics of people matching interior trim.

Well here's my colormatching that I've done. Decided to ditch the aluminum and wood trim inside the truck and dip it to match my WDT truck much like Echavez did his bumpers

See i was thinking about doing the same thing.. I thought about "WDT" but my interior is "Cocoa brown" and I figured the WDT color would clash. I was thinking about maybe going with something to accent the interior. Nice work.. looks awesome. TGawley, who posted pics of his "Brownestone" Silverado interior paint job also looks sick!!!

Thanks... no, It was just black. Don't know why it would not have been matched from the factory when you get matched door handles.

can't tell, but did you paint the Denali badge on the back, or is it still chrome??? If you did dip it, how did you get that done? Thanks

I had it painted black along with the grill and hood emblems. To do so had to purchase new emblems to have them painted and then used painters tape to mark the angle and location of the old ones. Making a square/rectangle around the emblems using a sharpie to mark your locations of measure. I find is the easiest

Mike,

Is your truck WDT? I have that as well. Was thinking about dipping the tailgate handle cap, and leave the chrome. Just seen this pick, the chrome seems to overshadow the nice paint job... Im thinking i may dip all of it. nice work

The whole tailgate handle has since been painted WDT. It's a cheap eBay cover that I purchased along with door handle covers so I wouldn't have to deal with removing any handles. Plus if I ever got tired of it, I can pull off the handles. But, I will say these covers stick STRONG
