5-6 thick coats of white & about 6 thick coats of pearlizer. Matches well, just doesn't have the same "gloss" WDT does. Glossifier may help, but I don't know how much. For roughly $30-40 you can't beat it.

This thing looks sick, one of my favorite trucks on the site. How did you do the tailgate handle?

I agree love it nice simple not over whelming though would like to seem someone with the front grille white SLE painted to give me an idea if I was to pull the trigger.

I added the chrome tailgate handle and had the surround painted to match (silver), and I added the GM oem painted fender flares and mud guards.

Looks nice did u plasti dip the handle or actual paint ??

Actual paint from a body shop, only cost me $20 because the guy hooked up me since I've been going to him for over 10 years.

Nice was it hard to remove and does camera separate from the housing or is it one of those pieces that's hard to get out.

It's easy to take off, just remove the access panel on the inside of the tailgate. Then there's a couple of nuts that hold the handle in place. From there, you can disconnect and remove the lock cylinder and rearview camera. Now it's ready for paint.

what up color matched bros, I'm finally getting my bumpers/tailgate handle/grille surround painted in the next week or so and I've been inspired by echavez to have my headlights worked on/upgraded via fastheadlights and I'm wondering what I should do as far as the paint on the inside. my sierra's an SLE so there are no led running lights, so the spot where they go is just chrome. I'm wondering if I should get them paint matched, black, or a combination, like this one:

really curious what you guys think!

Surprised this thread isn't longer and that I didn't see any pics of people matching interior trim.

Well here's my colormatching that I've done. Decided to ditch the aluminum and wood trim inside the truck and dip it to match my WDT truck much like Echavez did his bumpers
