I've had a Truck Cover USA for a year now, and still love it.

It costs more, but is solid.

Heard from the dealer the Pace Edwards has too many moving parts that can fail.

Looks like a Roll and Lock. I bet that is who makes the TCUSA cover. I want a powered one which limits me to Re-Trax and Pace-Edwards. I just haven't decided on which one yet.

Not very happy with the TonnoPro LoRoll. I had two clamps strip out and rip the grooves out while installing. Also the corners don't stay down and look kinda ridiculous. You get what you pay for. Might just be returning this to realtruck.

I just bought a Revolver X2 from Morrie at tonneaufactoryoutlet this morning. Hope to have it by Wednesday. I'm more than pleased with my interaction with him. We even chatted for several minutes about general BS. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again. They beat everybody else by miles. I know others price match, but the customer service from Morrie made my decision that much easier.

Will post up once it arrives and I have it put on.

Checked his prices.......WAY TOO HIGH! I can get the ReTrax powered cover installed here locally for 1700.00! He wants 2200 just to ship it to me. That ain't happening!

An electric Retrax for $1,700? That's doesn't sound right, that's way too low.

Does anyone here have the G4 Elite Fold-a-Cover? Pros/Cons? I'm thinking about getting it instead of the Roll n Lock.

I finally ordered a diamondback cover. After no lie.... a year of researching covers/caps I finally pulled the trigger on a HD diamondback (can hold 1600 lbs on top of it) with headache rack to protect back window, cross bin which is a tool box that sits below the cover at the front of the bed, and ATV package (that consists of 12' ATV ramps, adapter rails that run down the edge of the cover that the ramps connect to so the won't slip off, and guide rails that keep you from riding off the other side of the truck while loading an ATV onto it. All covered in a rugged black line X like coating.

I know some may think diamondbacks are an over kill/ are over priced, or even one person here seems to be adamant about the locking system being "rudimentary" like its a bad thing (it has simple metal locking rods that pivot under the bed side rails instead of using cheap plastic locks that can be pried open/ pried off the cover or locks that can be defeated by a coat hanger) , but like I said...I spent a lot of time comparing covers, emailing companies, reading testimonials, reading this forum as well as other forums and this cover seems to fit my personal needs the best. Provides a tool box, the best security in my opinion, the ability to haul my ATV on top of the cover (or anything up to 1600lbs) while storing/securing gear underneath the cover, and is easy to remove.....if needed. Just seems to be the best for my work needs and play needs.

My wife made the mistake of telling me to buy whatever cover I wanted for Christmas....and they are having a Christmas sale....so I couldn't resist. I won't lie.... It was a lot of $$$ but I would be confident about putting it up against any cover on the market..... plus I plan on having the truck for a while so.....why not.

For anyone looking for a tough, rugged, secure cover I would recommend checking them out. They have an SE model that can hold 400lbs on top for around $1199 polished by itself. The HD by itself (carries 1600lbs) goes for around $1599 I believe.....add $300 for the rugged black coating when ordered direct.......Idk about other places that sell them. I'm not knocking other covers because it all depends on your personal needs. I'm just a satisfied costumer.

That is what the GMC dealer told me they can get it done for. He just put one on his mother-in-law's 2015 Sierra.

I am in the market for an electric retractable, and I think I am going with the Pace Edwards. Seems it has been on the market the longest with the fewest amount of serious complaints. I like the Retrax Pro MX but have read some people getting cracks in the canister and that their customer support is not as they claim(lifetime warranty).

The tailgate hardware is not required, but the cover will have two locking points instead of four locking points. Also, you will need to remove some of the hardware from the cover. Go to RollNLock's website and look at the instructions for a 2015 Ford that has the integrated tailgate step. (The tailgate piece cannot be installed.)
