Ordered a set of the black grid with silver countersink pedals and floor kick plate today from Performance Pedals. They state 3-weeks to manufacture and deliver. They should look sharp with the black interior and floor carpeting.

Damn. That looks nice!

Where'd you get the wrap from?

What brand?

How much?

Do you plan to do other assorted trim pieces such as the steering wheel and wood trim on door and center console?

I added Weathertech floor mats, and the GM chrome bug shield. That's it for today.

I was going to put in the bedliner, but they gave me the wrong one. It goes back tomorrow.

That looks great. I'd like to know more details about it also.

I also like that carbon fiber look. Did you wrap the original bezel or was it a new item?

Today I picked up the black touch up paint I ordered earlier from the dealer for those parking lot idiot dings. While I was at the dealer I also picked up the Chevy dashboard sun screen for the big black truck! Gets just a little hot in there on a sunny day - just a little.

MIke, I own a graphics company so i have access to a lot of cosmetic materials and the ability to do them cheaply. I do Screen Printing, Embroidery, and Large Format Digital Graphics (54” inkjet for signs, banners, posters, vehicle graphics, lettering and wraps). The wrap I used for the center DIC surround is 3M 1080 Black Carbon Fiber, and is about $4.00 a square foot. Compared to other vinyls it is pretty pricey, but 3M always is because it is the best material out there. There are other brands that aren’t quite as expensive but anything in Carbon Fiber is going to be pricey. If you go to my build page you will see the other parts of the interior I have done, as well as rally stripes on the hood with the same material. The DIC surround was the only piece so far I removed to wrap, all the other pieces were done in place. Here is the link to my build page, if you go through it you will see the various other parts hive used the Carbon Fiber on.

Max, I just removed the DIC surround bezel, I ran across a good you tube video of how to take it off, it’s really easy. Wrapped it after I removed it. Any of the other bits I have done were left in place when I wrapped them, because of the way this piece is mounted to the dash i wanted to get the material behind the outer edges. Check out my build page, there’s pictures of the other pieces done,

Somedays there are advantages to owning a screen printing, embroidery, digital graphics business!

Pulled the headrest covers off and did some 3D puff embroidery to them!
