It won't affect the fuel economy. Its not heavy enough to. Like a car painted 4 times doesn't get less mugs than a car with 1 paint job. Also cleaning is easy. I cleaned the bugs off by just shooting the grille with a water hose

Im confident it'll turn out great. I used a different PSI on the truck than I did the Xterra and I like this new texture I got so I'll be doing that and I'm just unsure since it'll be silver bedliner lol but it'll be a year before I do it

I think it would have lots of drag, that is my main concern, not the weight. But both adds up.

Im gonna bedline the bumpers for sure now cause well my addiction has started back again haha but I think ima do the fog light surrounds black but the tow hook tan thing on the front color matched. Eventually the whole thing will be bedlined silver cause bedliner is just awesome. Here is my old Xterra color matched bedliner molten lava metallic

The Line-X xterra looks killer! Once I fix my hail damage my plan is color match Line-X my who truck as well. Need to work with my local guys on getting the color down though. My fender flares came out darker.

Its not that tall or ridgid. I say hauling stuff in the bed has more drag

Line-X is too expensive for my taste so I did it myself with Raptor Liner. They wanted $5k to do my Xterra

How much did the Raptor cost if you don't mind me asking? My local Line-X would do it for 3k if I pay cash and help with some prep. Like removing the door handles, trim, grille, etc.

I was in the Xterra $400. I sprayed it myself so $400 is materials cost

Wow that's awesome! Sorry for all the questions. How was the color matching process?

All good. They sell a black kit and a tintable kit which you use for color matching. Getting the color can be the difficult part because you need the paint like you were painting a truck but need the color mixed with no binders in it just base tint and metallics if you have metallics. I went to O'riellys cause they can mix paint and told him what I needed and what Im doing and he didn't believe me it would work without binders and gave it to me for free because he said "it would fall off and didn't wanna be responsible" and told me to bring it back when I was done. Proved him wrong haha

Haha. So if you use the binders than it can distort the color? Or do you not use them because of the binding agents in the bed liner spray?

Im not sure why. Just said that in the instructions so I followed them although now they say you can use single stage paint and it be fine but that would match to any of our paints

This damn tungsten metallic looks great but color matching it for bed liner is a pain in the ass since it changes colors a little. Thanks for the insight on your experience with raptor. I'm going try and get some samples sprayed this week.
