Found this 1" cut on my dash today. The truck is only 2 months old and I have no idea how it was there. :nonod::tear:

Bought the LED fog lights from the retrofit source. They were plug n play but I don't recommend them. The light output is crisp and clean.

My problem was with the mounting brackets. The brackets don't use the screws like the oem ones. Instead there's 2 small little nipples that kinda click in. That's it. The oem fogs use 3 mounting tabs and the retrofit ones use 2. I ended up using zip ties to hold on the foglight housing onto the oem brackets because with the 2 nipples they'll pop off with road vibrations. There's also no real way to adjust the lights

Oh and this was installed on my 2015 Silverado 1500.

I'll try uploading pics tomorrow.

You are supposed to use the mounting hardware from the old lights. Adjustment screw as well. I'm quite happy with mine.

Just as I was really starting to enjoy this truck the front suspension developed a squeak, guess I'll check to make sure all the bolts are tight sounds like something got in between the sleeve in the bushing and the bolt possibly

Have you greased the joints for the steering? It's just one on each side and is easy to get to if you turn the wheel each direction. I think the manual says to grease them every 15,000 miles. I've just been doing it every oil change.

Yup. I do all my own maintenance and I'm the same as you, do it every oil change

Did you disconnect the battery and wait 10 mins to "reset" the ECM for the MIT? Hopefully I will have mine sometime this week.

I have heard to reset it to maximize the mod. I was getting 17.5mpg and input in a K&n filter and it dropped to 16.1. I just reset mine tonight so we'll see this week. I was doing some research on google and its not a myth.

I just installed my Bakflip G2. Took about 15 minutes taking my time and double checking fitments. So far I like the fit and finish.
