well I became a real big kid, last week I went out and decided to buy my first big kid vehicle and go into debt like the rest of the world! Got one heck of a deal though, I traded my 2010 JKUR for over its KBB value! I ended up getting a 2014 Silverado 1500 LT crew cab! So far I have been happy with it and actually just spent the last week and a half looking though all the posts in this subject! In that time, I purchased a bug/rock guard for the hood, mud guards (both of those come in the mail tomorrow), and today I went out and got an exhaust put on her so she wouldn't sound like a prius anymore! The local exhaust shop hooked me up with a magna flow muffler, 3 inch tubing after the valve, and a 4 inch exhaust tip! It doesn't sound as throaty as I thought it would, it sounds more.... Race-e like a new corvettes exhaust but I do not mind that at all! Also it is not too loud and I can not hear any drone in the cab so its perfect! Can someone tell me how to post from my mac? It keeps telling me my images are to big to upload! Thanks in advance!

They were Eagle Eyes and off autoanything for 289, but I am returning them.

Did you make the LED strips your DRL's and have them disabled in the headlights? I want to add something like Putco Dayliners but I don't want the low-beam DRL's on at the same time.

I have the new LED DRLs wired to be controlled on/off with the fog lights right now. I may end up wiring them to the DRLs and just taking the amber bulbs out later though.

What mileage are you getting? Also do you have an avg 0-60 now with the new gears?

haven't timed it yet. went up about 2mpg running e85. i am doing a trip from indiana to south carolina in june where i am going to run 87 again and will have better mileage info.

Didn't really do anything new to it, but went to the track last night to run it,

 

Left it in 2wd and ran a 15.1@92MPH... Was hoping to get into the 14's but it was pretty hot out and the tires did spin a bit off the line. Next time I will be sure to launch it in 4WD lol

 

Not to bad for 5680lbs though lol

 

 

 

 

And washed it as well.
